Real estate is an essential service, but no realtors can show listings in Los Angeles for now.

Yesterday afternoon, the City of Los Angeles revised its Safer at Home Order. Among other changes, the City added the following language to its Order: "Open houses and in-person showings of housing for lease and sale are prohibited." As a result, regardless of any essential business designations by the State of California or Los Angeles County, we cannot show homes in the City of Los Angeles.

I am committed to the safety of all my clients and I do my best to protect my clients from getting into a legal problem by unknowing violating laws and regulations. If any realtor is doing in-person showing in LA, the person is violating the law.

No showings in the city of Los Angeles, but in Pasadena and other cities, in-person showings might be allowed as the last resort if all parties understand risks, regulations, and are agreed with the guideline of the CA realtor's association.
